The first visit of Romanian experts to the National Library of the Republic of Moldova in connection with the SIBIMOL project – Dan Matei, Director of the Institute of Cultural Memory cIMeC, and Liviu-Iulian Dediu, Deputy Director of the Public Library “V.A.Urechia” in Galati.

The trip of the chief of the SIBIMOL Centre Andrei Suscov and of the Deputy Director of the National Library Vera Osoianu to the National Library of France, Paris. Training of these persons at the participant libraries of SUDOC (Systeme universitaire de documentation) – Collective Catalogue of the university libraries of France.

The creation of SIBIMOL working groups: Group of Linguistic Ensuring, Logistic and Engineering Group.

Le 2 Septembre 2008 la Bibliothèque nationale de la République de Moldova a lancé le système SIBIMOL

SIBIMOL désigne un Système Intégrée des Bibliothéques Informatisées de MOLdova. Le directeur du projet et l’auteur de la conception est Alexei Rău, directeur général de la Bibliothèque Nationale. Contribution à la réalisation - Andrei Suşcov, Alla Panici, Liviu Rău, Valentina Chitoroagă, directeur général du CNL

SIBIMOL est un des plus importants projets stratégiques dans la bibliotéconomie de Moldova et de sa culture en général. Sa mise en œuvre faira un changement radical en ce qui concerne l'accès du public à la connaissance et à l'information et marquera le début d'une période toute nouvelle, toute spécialle en développement du système des bibliothèques et de la démocratie, culture et civilisation communautaire dans notre république.
