Future

SIBIMOL in the action

The integration of public libraries into a modern interactive information system, computerized cataloging, the utilization of the computerized union catalog by librarians and the beneficiaries of the public libraries – are just some of the training topics, initiated by the National Library of the RM, the Librarians’ League of the RM, and the SIBIMOL Center in March this year.
On 19 April 2013, a seminar on New Library Services was organized for the trainers of the network CRF NOVATECA. Twelve of the best librarians from public district, municipal and town libraries of Ungheni, Soroca, Orhei, Leova, Ceadîr-Lunga and Căuşeni had the possibility to contribute to the continuation of the training programme in integration of public libraries into a modern interactive information system. The training was supported by the National Library of RM, Librarians’ League of the RM, and the SIBIMOL Center, which have a partnership agreement with the Novateca Programme. We thank our colleagues from Novateca for their support and openness to cooperation with all libraries, who have demonstrated willingness to participate in the performance of the pilot Project Novateca, thus contributing to the prosperity and progress of all the libraries in the country.
